it’s been a while since i decide to update this page. nothing too exciting been going on in life. of course, i gotta mention the state of the economy and that automatically tells you where i stand. this summer has been quite unproductive and fast. in one ear and out the other.
went to magic tradeshow in las vegas this summer. it was really scaled down this time around. christian audigier had a huge section at the magic floor at the convention center. surprisingly, the douchebag look was still in full effect (the actual clothing that were exhibited and the attendees). most of the various tradeshows like project, magic, and pool were purchased by the same company but they did not put all the shows under the same roof. they plan to consolidate for next years shows. the tradeshow was boo-boo but the palazzo hotel was tru-tru. probably the best hotel i’ve stayed at thus far. came up on the slots and had a positive trip in terms of financially.
other things that have been brewing with @grinchgreen? i am involved with a internet show. we do live broadcasts online at TALKIN*ISH. the show itself is like a hybrid of wayne’s world and a japanese game show. i am a host alongside danny cho and IZ aka izreal. previous guest have been roscoe umali, lisa kim fleming, dumbfounded, and other guest appearances. check us out and tune in every 2-3 weeks.

i guess there has been some talk going around about me as the owner behind that hater blog thats been causing some heat lately. after hearing some of the reasoning behind why my name was brought up, i can see where they can get the wrong idea. a couple of the things mentioned are that i have this blog and my debtstock blog and that means i am capable of setting up such a site, i have a twisted sense of humor, i know lot of the people that have been roasted, “silky johnson” is my friend on facebook and has left comments on my page. these are all pretty valid reasons to point the finger at me but i am not the person behind that site.
this blog and my debtstock blog are both wordpress.com blogs in which i have applied a stock template to. the only similarity is that my blogs and the hater blog are set up in a 2 column layout. other then that, there is nothing else that is similar. most blogs are traditionally setup in this fashion. i do have a little bit of knowledge in this, but my knowledge is quite minimal.
i do have an interesting sense of humor but some of the things i’ve seen posted on that hater blog are not even humorous anymore, they are downright attacks on individuals. those anonymous posters have really crossed the line and are doing some cowardly things. its easy for you to sit behind a computer screen anonymously and talk shit about people, why don’t you say it to they face.
i did add “silky” on facebook like 3 weeks ago. i didn’t know who it was but i just added cause we had some similar connections. what does it mean if he posted some shit talkin comments on my page? i can’t control who posts on my page. should i just delete him as a connection now? i got nothing to gain from keepin the connection or dropping it.
after looking into the site though, most of the harshest posts are anonymously submitted, these are definately people that are close to the victims of the posts. there have been similar sites or pages (ninjaquickness on xanga) in the past, but those were just a very generalized view of party pics and such. the current site has really taken shit very personal and is very sad, really. you gotta attack other people cause you feel low about yourself. you are so cool now that you talk shit anonymously.
i appreciate the friends and people around me, why would i want to jeopardize that by setting up some hater blog and talk shit about all the people i surround myself with.
bottom line, I AM IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT, CONTRIBUTION, OR CIRCULATION OF THAT ROAST SITE. that is all i have to say and i only want to say it once.

it is no secret that hypebeast kids will wait in line for just about anything. i won’t lie, i have waited in line for the original nike sb denim dunk a few years back. but the shit is outta control sometimes. the hundreds always have crazy lines for their releases. looks like this kid below was in a few of those said releases.
not only does he camp out for the hundreds releases, he also camps out for selena gomez red carpet events. beasting.

there has been a lot of buzz about this mixtape, “so far gone,” by canadian actor/rapper drake. lot of people on twitter been raving about it so i decided to download it. i gotta say it wasn’t quite what i expected. drake really likes to sing on many of the records but he does have an all-star supporting cast with the likes of lil wayne, trey songz, bun b, and lloyd.

it was a friday the 13th/valentines day/presidents day weekend this past week. of course, everyone decided to throw a party each day, thursday-sunday. four parties in one week would have been fantastic back when the liver was younger and fresher. now the hangovers take a full day +plus for recovery. thursday, local bar then stopped by mood for 15-20 minutes. mood was really dead, 90% guys, and overall boring. friday, local bar then made a quick stop at vanguard then to opera. vanguard was really dead but the venue is large so it seemed even more empty. stay at vanguard for about 20 minutes then took a 6 block walk to opera. opera was poppin off. lots of familiar faces, some good looking girls, drinks flowing. needless to say, the rest of the night is hazy. saturday was valentines day but since i don’t care for that and i was majorly hungover i just ended up stayin home watching 1 cent on demand movies courtesy of time warner. sunday, watched the game at the local bar while deciding where to go later that night. the options were plenty but a couple venues, blvd3 and conga room, were the top choices. conga room took the majority since most of us never been there before.
this is usually how we start the night off with them 2 for 1 cocktails and happy hour.

nothing like some good snacks to go with a few cold beers. here are some of the goodies that i had along with some budweiser tall boys. the beef jerky is a requirement and the hot fries are a bonus. something i’m sure no one has ever tried before is the beef jerky with el taurino salsa verde. i just discovered this thing of beauty last night. i bet people go to el taurino thinking the burritos are what make it so desirable but it is really the sauce that sets it off. as you can see, i got a large cup of el taurino sauce in a different container. i used the beef jerky as if they were chips and dipped it in the sauce. let me tell you, that combo is just heavenly. i think that salsa would make bull testicles taste great.

here is that crack they call salsa verde, i really think they sprinkle crack on the salsa. after all, el taurino is located in a known gang/crack neighborhood.
